What is BlueWater Syndicate

BlueWater Syndicate is a membership-based community of 150 anglers who access world class pelagic game fishing year-round on a first come first served basis, when they want and how they want.

Members handle airfare and accommodation on their own, or through our discount affiliate partner programs. From there on, our fleet of 3 fully outfitted and equipped 33’ Grady Whites and top of the line Shimano offshore tackle are at your disposal from the second you arrive. Everything is ready to go - no prep, no stress, no hassle.

Scheduling, tackle prep requests, and any detail you can imagine are all handled through the member portal in direct coordination with the founders, Paul and Shenton. You and your experiences become our priority once you join the syndicate.

Meet the Founders

20 years ago, we met on the back deck of a work party dragged there by our wives, and as most conversations go in our worlds - we ended up talking fishing, boats, and the dream of one day having a place in the Caribbean with a boat. That conversation kicked off a life-long friendship and shared vision for how we want to fish.

Next thing you know, we were going sharking on our single engine 26’ Cobia LilBassea, and periodically boat hoeing around on friend’s bigger sportfishing boats. A couple years later, we bought a boat together - our beloved 32-foot Cape Horn center console KielBassSEA.

We were addicted, relentless, and very successful with our efforts. She wasn’t very comfortable, but she was fast, fishy and very bloody! Nothing like double overnighters on an open center console 100 miles out with nothing but bean bags and boat fenders for creature comforts. We didn’t care - we got to the gulf eddy’s fast, made quick work of the fish, and came home safe and sound with coolers full of fish.

So, what else could you ask for...?

Then life happened. Careers. Families. Kids. You know the drill.

We sold the boat, but the obsession never disappeared. It just sat quietly in the background waiting for the right time to return. With periodic trips here and there it was not the same, but now the kids are older, family planning is done, the fire is back, and we decided to build an offshore experience that makes sense: something easier, more accessible, more affordable, and with more control.

Why We Built Bluewater Syndicate

1. New England Winters Suck - If you’re like us, a little piece of you dies as winter approaches. No matter where the snow falls, you know it’s another 6 months until you’ll see blue water or hear a reel peel off from the transom again. We’re also getting older and running 100 miles out is a lot to handle. Syndicate membership solves this and offers hassle-free year-round access to pelagic fishing on your terms for about the same price as ONE east coast canyon trip from CT, RI, MA, NJ, or NY. Best part of it, offshore fishing is close to shore.
2. We Can’t Stand Charters - We spend so much time and effort creating fishing plans in the summer months, just to book a charter somewhere tropical with zero control or input on how we fish, where we fish, or how long we fish. This membership gives you a familiar boat, your own tackle, and your own plan.
3. The Community - We truly feel like we need to give back to the sportfishing community for all it has given us. We’ll operate the business, and together with your membership base, we’ll grow a community of like-minded fishermen who build and share fishing knowledge in all of our destinations so there is never a moment questioning where to fish or how to fish. The community is what got us here, and the community is what will get us there - fishing in the promise land of offshore pelagic gamefish on your terms - no one else’s, year-round.

Our fleet is Grady-White class and fully rigged for serious offshore fishing. Tiagra 50s. Spreader bars. Premium spinning and jigging setups. Ballyhoo’s Quality tackle. Everything prepared and ready before you ever leave the dock.

The destinations are not random vacation ports — they are legitimate bluewater grounds:

Saint Martin. Cayman Islands. Nassau, Bahamas.

Membership is intentionally limited to 150 anglers.

Not to create exclusivity for the sake of exclusivity — but to ensure every member has real access to the fleet and the ability to fish when they want to fish.
