Paul has spent his whole career in the investment management industry.

The fishing obsession began at an early age, fishing lakes and rivers in Poland with his father, who was always an avid angler. It progressed from freshwater to inshore saltwater, and eventually offshore when he met Shenton and they went on their first offshore trip together. It was the beginning of a lifelong friendship and an offshore fishing journey. Two decades later, Bluewater Syndicate was born.

Paul manages the day-to-day operations of Bluewater Syndicate and is the main contact for all members. He works directly with Shenton on business development, strategy, and the vision for Bluewater Brands.

“It all started with a love for offshore fishing. We wanted to create something that lets us fish all year round in amazing destinations without breaking the bank. This concept also brings families together, as most of these destinations can be vacations for everyone.”

When he’s not fishing, you can catch him with his family on antique car tours, or in Vermont snowboarding and skiing.

Shenton handles all the front-end social content with Matt Carroll and member experience with Chris, and works directly with Founder Paul Borowiec every day on general operations activities and strategy.

When asked about Bluewater Syndicate, he says: “We’ve literally just changed how people access big game fishing, and we’re doing it in a way that syncs with the whole family — making not only pelagic fishing accessible, but also incredible Caribbean and Keys vacations too!”

A Florida Keys local with more than 35 years of fishing and boating experience in Key Largo and the surrounding waters, Manny has been a USCG-licensed captain since 2009. He has spent decades navigating and fishing these waters, from Florida Bay and the backcountry to the nearshore and offshore grounds around the Keys.

Manny calls the Keys home, where he lives with his wife, Janna. His time on the water has given him a deep understanding of the local waterways, changing weather, seasonal fisheries, marinas, and the day-to-day realities of running boats in the Keys — and of the preparation and attention to detail it takes to keep a vessel ready to fish.

As Bluewater Syndicate’s Florida Keys Operations Manager, Manny is the local point of contact for members fishing the Keys. He oversees vessel readiness, maintenance coordination, and member check-in and check-out, making sure every trip starts with the boat, the equipment, and the operation ready to go.

Whether he’s helping members understand the local waters, coordinating a vessel need, or making sure everything is set when they arrive at the marina, his goal is simple: remove the operational headaches so members can show up and fish. He is exactly what we want at every Bluewater destination — a knowledgeable local who knows the boats, knows the water, and takes care of our members.
